We Represent Creditors in the Preston Case

The Preston investment group, owned by businessman Filip Navrátil, has admitted that it no longer has sufficient funds to service its debts. The group raised capital primarily from retail investors through bonds and other investment instruments, including for a hotel project in the United Arab Emirates that was never completed.

Preston Business has already filed an insolvency petition in respect of itself and proposes that its insolvency be resolved through reorganisation, involving the gradual sale of its assets followed by liquidation.

We are bringing together and representing creditors of the Preston group.

If you hold bonds issued by any company within the Preston group and have not received the agreed returns or repayment of the nominal value, we recommend that you do not leave further developments to chance and seek professional representation as soon as possible.

The court has not yet issued a final decision declaring Preston Business insolvent. The two-month deadline for filing claims will begin only once the insolvency decision has been published. It is therefore essential to prepare now to ensure that your claim is filed correctly and on time. Please note that bonds must also be included in the filing even where the principal has not yet fallen due.

A properly and timely filed claim is essential not only for the satisfaction of your claim, but also to secure your voting rights at the creditors’ meeting and, consequently, a genuine ability to influence the final form of the reorganisation.

Other companies connected with the Preston group may also enter insolvency proceedings, in which case swift action may be required.

We have extensive experience representing creditors in insolvency proceedings and advising on corporate finance matters. To protect your rights and pursue your claims as effectively as possible, please contact us at info@stuchlikova.com or by telephone on +420 222 767 393.
