Insolvency of Bond Issuer YD Real Estate Finance a.s.
YD Real Estate Finance, a.s. has issued a large number of bonds, with its total liabilities amounting to at least CZK 1.4 billion. Although the company offered investors attractive returns, it has been in default on their payment since the end of 2025.
Following an insolvency petition filed by a group of creditors, the Municipal Court in Prague declared the company insolvent on 2 June 2026. Creditors now have a two-month period within which to file their claims in the insolvency proceedings.
If you hold bonds issued by YD Real Estate Finance, a.s. under any bond issue and the agreed returns or nominal value have not yet been paid to you, we recommend filing your claim in the insolvency proceedings without delay. Please note that claims arising from bonds whose nominal value, i.e. principal, has not yet become due must also be filed.
Claims filed after 3 August 2026 will not be satisfied in the insolvency proceedings.
The proper and timely filing of a claim is essential not only to preserve your entitlement to satisfaction, but also to secure your voting rights at the creditors’ meeting. Although the debtor has proposed resolving its insolvency through reorganisation, the court has not yet decided on the final method of resolving the insolvency.
Please also note that other companies affiliated with the YD Capital group and its shareholders, including YD Capital a.s. and Miris Garden a.s., are involved in separate insolvency proceedings. Prompt action may also be required in these cases.
