In 2026, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) once again have the opportunity to apply for grants to support intellectual property protection. As of February 2, 2026, the call for applications is open.

You can now apply for funding to protect your intellectual property rights for:

IP Scan and IP Scan Enforcement services,
Trademarks and Industrial designs,
National patents, including the Prior Art Search service,
European patents, including legal representation costs,
Community plant variety rights.
