OMNIBUS – Simplification of ESG Reporting

On February 26, 2025, the European Commission presented a package of proposed legislative changes for mandatory ESG reporting rules – OMNIBUS.

The goal is to:

• Simplify the ESG reporting process for companies,
• Reduce their administrative burden, and
• Increase their competitiveness.

The proposal now moves to the EU Council and the European Parliament, where it may still be amended during the legislative process.
